skip-a-beat presents - transmedia takeover at Now or Never 2026

Mumbai meets Melbourne in a celebration of the creative currents connecting the two cities. 
Now or Never welcomes Mumbai’s pioneering transmedia label skip-a-beat for a one-night takeover encompassing electronic music, visual art and in-depth conversation. Moving from talks to a group exhibition and an exciting night of sound, visuals and dance, featuring South Asian creatives and local Melbourne crews.

At the heart is the premiere of a new audiovisual work by Spryk and visual artist Dave Court designed for the dancefloor, alongside sets from Chor Bazaar, Mowgli & Primary Thug from Kerfew and the trailblazing CNTRL V. Alongside the AV and DJ lineup, the evening will also feature an exclusive screening of Neural Natak | A Technomagic Film by Spryk and a multi-screen media arts exhibition co-curated with Melbourne collective Pseudo, running through the night and transforming the space into a meeting point for communities from both cities.
