In the hands of Ishmael Butler, the boundaries of what hip hop is and can be expand exponentially. As the founding member of iconoclastic Seattle outfit Shabazz Palaces, he fractures and fragments the genre's core belief systems and rebuilds not just the style and contents but the very atmosphere it exists in. In this Australian exclusive performance, Shabazz Palaces is joined by his Sub Pop labelmate Stas THEE Boss, formerly of the futurist rap and R&B duo THEESatisfaction, she of The Don of Diamond Dreams standout track ‘Bad Bitch Walking’ fame.
